It's been raining pretty much all of the last three days. I've kind of enjoyed it, but I'm starting to get over my "this is a nice change of pace and isn't rain cozy" feeling about it and into my "sigh, more rain..." feeling. But anyway, I think rain is kind of cozy, so here are some cozy, rainy things I've been doing:
- watching Mary Poppins
- drinking hot chocolate
- reading books while all wrapped up in a blanket
- texting Panamanian Pal
- cooking and baking
- doing a serious, under the furniture sweeping and mopping (it's cozy, I promise)
- running in the rain (maybe not cozy, but something that I did in the rain.
Things I'm thinking about doing if the rain doesn't let up:
- sewing
- crocheting
- more baking!
- more reading
- more hot chocolate!
What do you guys like to do on a rainy day?

Laundry
I like to stay home as much as possible when it's raining. Especially really bad rain. Because going out in the rain with a 3yo and a toddler is super annoying. They get soaked, and putting them into their car seats gets me super soaked. I love the rain, always have, but I'm kind of over it with little kids. Haha! We find as many things as possible to do in doors when it's rainy.. I used to try to be outside/shopping/running errands as much as possible on rainy days...
I like to start watching a TV series on DVD. Usually Psych or Nero Wolfe. And make soup.
Everything on your list sounds absolutely WONDERFUL. I'd like more rain around here. We're pretty boring and stay inside most of the time on the weekends anyway, so my kids won't go stir crazy if it's raining. Hot chocolate sounds wonderful! I'd probably clean my house and then watch movies and have popcorn and hot chocolate. All while working on some crafty project, because I get bored just watching the TV.
I like to sit in our covered porch in the rocking chairs with a blanket and hot cocoa! It's great!
